Forthcoming conference paper: Archaeology and Kenneth Anger

For those of you who might take an interest in such things, on the morning of Saturday 2 November I shall be presenting a paper on the subject of archaeology in the work of American avant-garde filmmaker Kenneth Anger. This will be as part of a conference held at the UCL Institute of Archaeology in Central London on "Monstrous Antiquities: Archaeology and the Uncanny in Popular Culture", organised by Gabriel Moshenska and Tina Paphitis. Tickets for the conference are available here if any of my readers are interested, and it runs over the course of three days from Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon. If you miss it but still want to hear my paper, never fear, because - if all goes well - I do intend to write it up and publish it at some point in the near future.
